It was thought that there would be a demand, at least in Hospitals, for antimicrobial copper surfaces, due to the rampant rise of Hospital Acquired Infectious Conditions (HAIC) that are no longer susceptible to antibiotics and common disinfectants.  

Although it is common knowledge that copper rich surfaces can prevent pathogenic infections, the Hospital managements are not interested in applying this feature, because in spite of widely reported efficacy in preventing infections they do not welcome the idea. Sad and stupid, but unfortunately true.

During our research into how to cover anything and everything in copper, we had reason to use a micro-fine powder, because some items could not be covered in sheeting or foil. We made a paint using the micro-fine powder that surprisingly, when tested for antimicrobial action, proved to be more effective than copper sheeting. This is probably due to the vastly  increased surface area of the tiny flakes of metal.

This being the case, we thought it might be possible to use the powder as a topical antimicrobial covering on the skin to treat bacterial, viral and fungal conditions. 

Ongoing research has proven this powder to be even more effective than we imagined and has revealed some surprising, hitherto unknown properties. 

It is: 

1. Actively antimicrobial against all pathogens: bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae and protozoa. 

2.  Strongly analgesic, painless to apply and long lasting, quickly removing pain but not  affecting the normal sensation. (unlike local anaesthetics that numb the entire area temporarily.)

3. Stimulates stem cell growth, leading to more rapid healing and minimal scaring.

4. Safe to apply, as the powder does not penetrate skin or tissue.

5. Sticks well to the skin, as it is lipophilic, adsorbing onto the natural skin oils, mixing with coagulating blood to create its own covering that helps form a strong sterile scab.

6. Hydrophobic, so does not rinse of easily, but can readily be removed with soap and water.

7. Used for insect bites and stings, it has an antitoxin action that reduces the swelling and inflammation as well as removing the pain. Nothing else does this.

 

We have now found a method that enables the powder to be used for parenteral treatment, which when proven will revolutionise modern medical science.

 

The more we use it the more we are discovering. We have a wealth of consistently good anecdotal results by independent Doctors, Nurses and private people, used in an ever widening variety of conditions.

In response to the new pandemic of Covid-19 we have formulated a

Clinical trials are required before we can get the product registered with MCC (Medicine Control Council), without which it is hard to move forward, but impossibly expensive and will take years.

Our patent for RSA will give some cover, but not worth the expense of expanding to other countries.

 

All this has and is taking time and huge expense, but we remain confident we have a product that can rival ‘Aspirin’ and ‘Penicillin’ in its medical and monetary value.
